It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Sono nato a Bernalda in provincia di Matera e dalla prima infanzia ho vissuto a Torino, dove ho studiato e conseguito la maturità artistica presso il II Liceo Artistico. La mia attività artistica si esplica nella ricerca di una composizione pittorica in cui la figura umana è presenza a testimonianza di un attimo che possiamo definire impercettibile, in quanto unico, nella sua quotidianeità. Sono momenti che ognuno di noi può inrociare e osservare nell’arco della sua giornata, ma su cui difficilmente ci si sofferma. In questi attimi, che cerco di cogliere, si racchiude la bellezza della spontaneità, l’armonia dei gesti, espressioni di istanti che si perdono ripetutamente. La mia sfida pittorica, che stuzzica e guida questa mia passione, è di creare tele in cui si può vedere chiaramente il movimento e una situazione che possiamo definire di normale routine giornaliera. Le marché, un dipinto su tela del 2019, esprime forse un po’ più di tutti gli altri miei quadri questa voglia di “bloccare” il momento. Questa idea e voglia di rappresentare la realtà che ci circonda ogni giorno ha anche imposto la necessità di una ricerca pittorica in cui il disegno denota influenze classiche. Questo passo non mi è stato difficile visto che ho lavorato per circa vent’anni in agenzie di pubblicità, come grafico e art director, dove la precisione del segno è uno dei requisiti fondamentali. Sicuramente un’influenza a cui avrei potuto, forse dovuto, rinunciare, ma l’idea compositiva a cui mi sono da subito appassionato esigeva, a mio avviso, una stesura pittorica realistica. In passato ho realizzato quadri con tecniche differenti come la tempera, l’acrilico e anche la matita. I colori ad olio ho cominciato ad utilizzarli, in pianta stabile, in quanto avevano i requisiti necessari per realizzare i dipinti che avevo in mente. Mi offrono una estrema libertà nella realizzazione non imponendomi tempi e modi. Dalla prima infanzia ho vissuto a Torino, dove ho studiato e conseguito la maturità artistica.
