Since 2006, Leo Thiakos has been actively engaged in the domains of design and visual arts. He is a graduate of the Ecole Cantonale d'Art du Valais, member of the Chamber of Plastic Arts of Greece (E.E.T.E) and member of the professional association of Swiss visual artists (Visarte). His artistic oeuvre stands out for its profound exploration of social and political themes, all interpreted through a lens of irony and allegorical insight. Leo's creations resonate with a unique blend of visual aesthetics and thought-provoking commentary.
Having amassed a decade of professional experience in Greece, he embarked on a transformative journey in 2016 by relocating to Switzerland. In this new chapter, he has unfurled his creative wings as a designer, artist, and independent curator. Leo takes an active role in the organization and participation of art exhibitions and cultural events, both within Switzerland and on the international stage. In the year 2018, Leo Thiakos initiated the inception of the ZERO* creative workshop, serving as a testament to his dedication to fostering creative dialogues and innovation.
Embracing the duality of his existence, Leo Thiakos divides his time and artistic endeavors between the picturesque landscapes of Switzerland and the vibrant artistic scene of Greece.
