I created this painting in the style of Japanese minimalism, aiming to convey simplicity and elegance. Using acrylic paints, I worked on developing bright textures and rich colors. Bold black lines depict bamboo, giving it strength and expressiveness, while the background in warm golden tones, complemented by a red accent, creates a contrast that highlights the beauty and grace of nature.
To the left of the image are written Japanese poems, which translate to "The slender bamboo sings, the wind bends it." These words reflect the philosophy of nature and its interaction with the elements, expressing resilience and harmony. Bamboo embodies flexibility and strength, while the wind is an important element of this dance, reminding us of the need to be adaptable and resilient in life.
My inspiration for this painting came from Japanese nature, where bamboo is associated with grace and strength. I chose acrylic as the main medium because it allows for the vibrancy of colors and clarity of lines, which is perfect for the minimalist aesthetic. This work combines modern and traditional elements, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in a meditative state and feel a connection with nature, its beauty, and inner harmony.

My name is Lena, and I am a professional artist from Israel. I specialize in creating captivating paintings in cubist and abstract art styles.

I was born in 1972 in Kyiv, a city that became a source of inspiration and the starting point for my artistic journey. From 1985 to 1990, I attended an art school, where I discovered the captivating world of painting. During this time, I eagerly mastered various drawing and painting techniques while exploring the works of great masters. I was particularly inspired by Cubists and Abstract Expressionists like Pablo Picasso and Wassily Kandinsky. Their bold experiments with form and color taught me to see the world from new perspectives and to reinterpret reality through art

.In 1990, I moved to Israel, which opened up new horizons for my creative development. The relocation was not only a geographical change but also a significant shift in my artistic practice. By immersing myself in the culture and traditions of my new country, I began to draw inspiration from the diversity of the palette and the uniqueness of colors found in Israel.

Since 2000, I have been living in Netanya, where I continued to deepen my skills at the art studio of Sergey Udovichenko. This period has been a genuine field for experimentation and self-expression. In a friendly and creative atmosphere, I was able to develop my ideas and work on projects that incorporated elements of Cubism and Abstraction. I explored new techniques and materials, opening up horizons for creative expression and inspiration.

From 2020 to 2021, I enrolled in the Veretzberg Art College in Ramat Gan, which marked an important milestone in my artistic journey. I immersed myself in studying contemporary art trends and mastering new media, such as digital painting and installations. This knowledge allowed me to integrate various artistic practices and create a unique style

.In 2017-2018, I also studied clay sculpture at a sculpture school in Saint Petersburg. This education became a significant stage for me, as I opened the door to the world of three-dimensional creativity. Sculpting with clay enabled me to experiment with forms and textures, and now I enjoy creating sculptures that express my ideas and emotional perceptions.

Today, my works are exhibited in galleries in Israel and beyond. Each piece reflects my inner world, where geometric shapes and vivid colors intertwine, along with the three-dimensional expressions found in my sculptures. Through my art, I aim to convey emotions and ideas, inspiring others to see beauty in the abstract and complex. I continue to create, sincerely hoping that my works can attract attention and evoke a response from viewers. Art, for me, is not just a means of self-expression, but also a way of communicating with the world, with its diversity and depth.
