Lee Eggstein, born in 1950, is a contemporary German artist known for his dynamic and experimental approach to painting. With a career spanning decades, Eggstein has garnered recognition both domestically and internationally, exhibiting his works in galleries across the United States, France, the Netherlands, and throughout his native Germany.

Eggstein's artistic journey is characterized by a relentless pursuit of new ideas and a penchant for pushing artistic boundaries. He is renowned for his adept use of various stylistic devices and techniques, which he employs across a diverse range of subjects. Whether capturing the nuances of daily life, exploring the beauty of nature, or delving into cultural and musical themes, Eggstein approaches each subject with a thematic series that reveals his deep artistic introspection.

Central to Eggstein's artistic practice are his preferred mediums of digital and acrylic on canvas, which allow him to convey his distinctive "abstract expressive" style. His works are marked by a powerful interplay of contrasts and hidden elements, through which he often addresses political and social issues with a critical eye.

Beyond his individual artistic pursuits, Lee Eggstein is deeply involved in the collaborative aspects of the art world. He is the founder and spokesperson of the artist group EKABA, demonstrating his leadership and commitment to fostering artistic dialogue. Additionally, Eggstein has served as the former chairman of the prestigious art association ART Baden-Baden eV, and has curated numerous art exhibitions, showcasing his ability to engage with and support fellow artists.
