Seit 1992 fördert die Firma Vollack Kunst und Kultur. Der erste Künstler im Jahr 1992 war Andreas Hötzel, bekannt unter seinem Künstlernamen Lee Eggstein. Das Vollack Forum im Karlsruher Rheinhafen diente ursprünglich als Ausstellungszentrum. Dort fanden zahlreiche abwechslungsreiche Jahresausstellungen statt, jede präsentiert von einem anderen Künstler oder einer anderen Künstlerin.

Im Jahr 2008 wurde der Standort nach Karlsruhe-Hagsfeld verlegt, inklusive eines Bürogebäudes und einer Werkshalle. Für diese Werkshalle erstellte ich sechs großformatige Bilder mit den Maßen 140x600 cm, um die Zeit im Karlsruher Rheinhafen retrospektiv darzustellen.

Das beigefügte Bild zeigt eine farbintensive und stilisierte Darstellung der Werkshalle. Die hohen Decken und die großen Metallstrukturen sind in lebhaften Rottönen, Gelbtönen und Schwarz gehalten, was eine abstrakte und künstlerische Transformation eines typischen industriellen Settings schafft.
