Laurent Poleo Garnier, a multidisciplinary artist, lives in Paris. Born in Paris in 1995, he began his studies at a visual communication school before turning to the fine arts, which favor a freer approach. After preparatory classes, in 2015 he joined the workshops of Patrick Tosani, Marie-José Burki, and finally Hélène Delprat at the Beaux-Arts de Paris. There, he explored various modes of expression such as video, drawing, dance, and photography, which became his preferred medium. In 2019, he went to study at the UDK in Berlin and graduated in 2020. That same year, the Festival d'Automne selected his portrait of choreographer/dancer François Chaignaud for its poster campaign in Paris. In 2021, his first solo exhibition was held at the Galerie du Crous in Paris, and he won the second PICTO prize for fashion photography and the le19M grant for Photography in the Crafts sector for a collaboration with Maison Lesage. His photographs are included in the public collections of the Palais Galliera, the City of Paris Fashion Museum.
