Laura Vendramin was born in Vittorio Veneto on August 28, 1997, and lives in Sacile, in the province of Pordenone. The approach to art occurs spontaneously from an early age, naturally also stimulated by parents, father musician and mother set designer, inside a nest where it was easy to breathe art freely. She graduated in 2016 at the Bruno Munari artistic high school in Vittorio Veneto, with a specialization in figurative arts, which gave her the opportunity to deepen and develop artistic sculptural and pictorial techniques. In the following years the term of the studies collaborates with an art gallery for which he realizes numerous paintings on commission and not, in different techniques and styles, and at the same time he begins to participate in various collective exhibitions held in the territory, bringing his own paintings made during the free time. Meanwhile, he deepens his artistic studies through training courses in drawing and, independently, through the study of shapes, bodies, colors and painting techniques. The strong passion for art is not limited to the creative act in front of the canvas, but leads her to want to intervene in the first person on the protection of artistic artefacts and cultural heritage, thus she undertakes studies at the Veneto Institute for Cultural Heritage. and in 2021 he obtained the title of restoration technician, with specialization in the restoration of canvas, wood and paper.
In Laura Vendramin's paintings the subjects are the faces, her research is based on the expressiveness of the figures, marked by significant contrasts between lights and shadows. In his canvases a story of presences unfolds which in fact manifest themselves by imposing themselves on the canvas, but which at the same time never transmit, through the voids and profiles of the perimeter, the feeling that they are there in their entirety and that they can remain there in a way permanent, in a natural metaphor with the daily life. The background in which the figures move is made of full, almost abstract, transparent and crystalline atmospheres that blend with the compositions themselves.
