LAURA, whose real name is Laurence Pierrat, made her debut illustrating record covers at TAMARIS - publishing house - in Paris, in 1993.
Fascinated by photo portraits, she decided one day to put them on canvas.First solo exhibition as a painter in June 2008 at the "Chapelle des Pénitents Blancs" in Gordes, where she exhibited large format portraits on canvas.
From her stay in Australia, LAURA brought in her luggage a part of the Aboriginal Dreamtime, which now influences her work on geometric abstraction, based on the search for harmonies between graphics and color.In 2012, the series of painted busts began, which met with great success, both in France and in the United States.
Today Laura is represented by Saatchi Art California.
His works are visible by appointment in his studio in Cabrieres d'Avignon.
