After the recent death of my mother, I started spending even more time with my beloved father. One of the places we frequent to take photographs is the the Leslie Street Spit. The painting is the view from a beautiful butterfly meadow during the fall which I have named after my father Howie.

Thank you for visiting, it is an honor to share my paintings with you. In my paintings I am trying to capture the immense beauty found in our world. If my work creates strong feelings in the viewer, then I have succeeded as an artist. Being the son of a retired meteorologist I have a fascination for skies, clouds and various atmospheric phenomena. Among my favourite local Toronto areas to paint is the Scarborough Bluffs and Leslie Street Spit. I owe a lot my development as an painter to Vladimir Ribatchok a great Russian artist who has taught me a great deal . I am an associate member of Oil Painters of America. All paintings which are indicated not sold are for sale. Please contact me by email @flamenco93@hotmail.com if you are interested in purchasing a painting?
