A lover of stories, myths, and legends, my work seeks to find the human in the heroes, the magic in the everyday. Born into the Air Force, raised in libraries, I found my friends in 398.2 (ye olden location of fairy tales), and then I never grew up. But the years went by anyway, and I managed to receive a degree in painting and drawing, marry my greatest friend, and give birth to my best playmate. In between responsibilities to the heart and wallet, I paint. and paint. and paint! In between the painting, I read more stories, and play more video games!

I paint in oil, watercolor, rarely acrylic. I draw mostly with pencil and charcoal and pastels, and I don't loathe color pencils.
