“Çanakkale”, where I spent my summer holidays since my childhood, it was cycling, swimming and nature for me when i was child. As İ grew up, it became resting, taking pictures and nature. Life has changed, I have changed, "Çanakkale" has changed, but nature remained as it is. Or I wanted him to stay ...
When we walked on the beaches of Istanbul with a person born in the eighties, we must have heard phrases such as "We would swim here.", "We would swim through the Bosphorus.", "We would swim to the islands." It was the only question that appeared in our minds. "Why can't I get in too, why did this filth happen?"
Investments made in Istanbul, bridges, industries, ports, roads, concrete piles all contaminated the Bosphorus and the Sea, and the same investments were made in a city that has been the subject of Epics like Çanakkale.
“I would jump off this springboard and go into the sea” while visiting the Dardanelles Strait, which will be contaminated with the nuclear power plant, mine, bridge, port and road
. While we still have a natural wonder city, it is up to us to try to save it. Actually, this is exactly what I want to do with the "Trampoline" exhibition. I wanted to explain the nature of Çanakkale by establishing a micro macro relationship with the "Trampoline".
