This skull actually took me a loooooong time to finish. The painting started as a verry simple and basic drawing of a head. Honestly, beginning this painting I didnt think of the outcome, it created itself while painting. The head, which became a skull with some kind of a helmet, is basically black. This skull actually took me a loooooong time to finish.
The painting started as a verry simple and basic drawing of a head. Honestly, beginning this painting I didnt think of the outcome, it created itself while painting.
The head, which became a skull with some kind of a helmet, is basically black. The helmet is a mix of many circles in blue, turquoise, red and white, being open on the forehead.
I left the teeth in the „natural“ ivory white.
The eyes represent the sky and the sun, visible through the transperent glasses. The glasses are circles in different tones of mostly red and some blue.
The absract nose is a constract with orange, mixing with the black.
Dark red, light crisp blue and majestic gold represent the background, strong and bright against the black skull.
