Looking At The Clouds Malarstwo autorstwa Krzysztof Kargol

Born in 1974 in the Silesian city of Zabrze, Krzysztof Kargol was educated as an economist. After holding various managerial positions for over a dozen of years in international corporations, he decided to change his life in order to take up art. An important part of his life philosophy is that life embody a kind of conscious journey led by the calls of the heart. An autodidact, he seeks a form of expression marked deeply by his own individuality and where accident functions as a value. In the last few years, he has worked in oil painting, where his aim has been to depict his own emotions through the use of color. Krzysztof creates paintings that are at once meditative, vibrant, serene and cheerful and which allow his viewers a wide arena for interpretation. An important theme of his art is nature, its cycles and endurance, with man’s essence as an integral part of it. In addition to painting, he occupies himself with creating new patterns and recreating others, which he arranges in larger formats by imprinting them – by means of wooden stamps, moulds or bone sculptures – onto clay, wood, tanned leather or fabric. Krzysztof is an enthusiast of the medieval period, historical reconstruction, travel, folk culture and craftsmanship. He plays several instruments and is a collector of music. Art is his way of satisfying the curiosity of life.
