Philosophy
Krisztina Dózsa-Farkas creates concrete illusions in her work with shapes and colors. Her aim is to enable recognition with maximum abstraction. The artist does not want to disturb, but to inspire and focus. The pictures, which at first glance appear decorative, radiate calm and unfold their true effect over time, provoking a pause. The core of this is a highly sensitive coordination of shapes and, above all, colors, or color series. The perfection in the execution creates the impression of a synthesis of technical-mechanical precision and the formal perfection of nature. Although all of the pictures have a theme that can be recognized in the abstract, it is ultimately the viewer's imagination that creates feelings in the pictures, guided by their own experiences.
Credo: Clarity, beauty and harmony are the goal that she wants to portray and achieve in her minimalist works.

Artistic career
Krisztina Dózsa-Farkas attended preparatory courses in life drawing, sculpture and painting while still a high school student and then studied graphics and design in Budapest. After several years as a graphic designer - first in Budapest and then in Munich - the urge to work freelance returned. So she started painting again and went in search of her own style, which she is constantly trying to refine and develop further. She became a painter because she wants to inspire people and motivate them to play with their imagination.
After an initial phase focusing on harmony, she is now mainly concerned with how to create tension in the picture. But one question runs through her work: How can something that is still recognizable be depicted with maximum abstraction? How can the illusion of depth be developed, how can associations be evoked that make us think? What different effects can one and the same motif have through the choice of colors?
