KRISTYAN BOUTIER was born in SAUMUR ( in FRANCE),on the banks of the LOIRE, in 1952.Since 1973, he has been following evening classes in Fine Arts at the same time. He arrives at l' ILE de la REUNION, (océan indien ), in 1987, and teaches Fine Arts in College ,and it is there that his active volcano, the PITON of THE FOURNAISE, and his lava flows, will be his source of inspiration, and will see the beginning of this séries of paintings on this theme ...In 1991, he settled on the Cote d'Azur, in FRANCE, where he rubbed shoulders with Greats Artists, such as ARMAN, TOBIASSE, CARZOU, FRANTA, ect...or even ULTRA-VIOLET, the muse of ANDY WARHOL. He befriends and occasionally, works with the internationnally renowned sculptor GUY BENOIT, former student of Constantin BRANCUSI, and Alberto GIACOMETTI...VENCE, where he will leave, in 1994, his imprint by a large fresco ...He was GOLD MEDALIST, of the 8th PICTURAL MASTER of NICE in 1992, and SILVER MEDALIST, of the SALON of brushs GOLD in NICE in 1993. Halfway between the Abstract and the Figurative ,the work of KRISTYAN BOUTIER, translates a fluid universe,in perpetual movement !!!!!!
