Marek Kopnicky is a photographer who is more concerned with the profound feelings he has when immortalizing his camera lens than with worldwide exhibitions and accolades. He spends a lot of his leisure time in nature, patiently waiting for those rare moments when Mother Nature presents stunning, often mystical scenes of perfection and harmony. His decades of trained vision, as well as his intuitive intuition, allow him to capture nature's intriguing infinite play and bring it into our homes.

He is particularly enamored of the splendors of Slovak environment, which is dominated by the towering peaks of the High Tatras, which are surrounded by lovely valleys, woodlands, and meadows where herds of horses graze. However, the mysterious energy of medieval castles, churches, and chapels fascinates him. The photographs of Spanish beaches are well worth a look. They conceal a hint of mystique in addition to a dash of beauty and romance.

Marek Kopnicky lives and works in Slovakia. Marek's images can be found in hundreds of homes, apartments, offices, and hotels around the world. They also contributed to more than 10 books as illustrators.
