'Homa' is a depiction of ancient Persia, Iran in its symbols. From the culture, I picked and embedded Homa (a prominent figure in Persian mythology, implying bliss and fortune), then added Ahura Mazda (the creator of the universe in Zarathustra), the king Cyrus as it is carved in a temple in Apadana, Lotus flower that believed to have magical power in ancient Persia, twin spirits Spenta Mainyu and Angra Mainyu (Ahriman)—the former beneficent, choosing truth, light, and life; and the latter destructive, choosing deceit, darkness, and death, Arash the archer, and of course pomegranate, Persian's favourite fruit.

The design also holds several signs and fonts from ancient Persian alphabets Avesta and Pahlavi.

Homa can be created in a larger size if you wish to. The artwork could decorate your sitting room, living room, dining room, library, or corridors. It can well sit on a wall with white, shades of grey, or any darker tone colour. A unique gift perfect for any occasion including a new home, new job, career progression, office revamp, birthday and anniversary.

My work is my reflection in symbols, signs, characters and other symbolic elements of ancient cultures. I research a particular culture first, then pick those elements I wish to use in the artwork, add my own taste to the element, add my own elements that are mainly inspired by cubism, make the design then complete the painting. My works are mostly black and white.

I love to create work that reflects my love of the source material I work from, the ancient cultures and their untold stories, various ancient mystery traditions, and the ever-unfolding and often mystical experience of being alive in a world that is apparently material, immaterial, and prone to all manner of interesting archetypal expressions and wonderments.
