작가에 관하여
Edith Stütz ist eine zeitgenössische österreichische Künstlerin, die 1965 in Graz geboren wurde. Sie studierte Kunstgeschichte an der Karl-Franzens-Universität in Graz, wo sie zwischen 1990 und 1996 ihr Diplom ablegte und anschließend an derselben Institution in Kunstgeschichte promovierte.
Stütz hat zahlreiche Ausstellungen im In- und Ausland durchgeführt und ihre Werke sind in öffentlichen und privaten Sammlungen zu sehen. Ihre künstlerische Exzellenz wurde mit mehreren Preisen gewürdigt, darunter dem Preis der Ernst und Rosa von Dombrowski-Stiftung, dem Luxembourg Art Prize Certificate of Merit for Artistic Achievement im Jahr 2021 und dem Teravarna Prize in Los Angeles, USA, im Jahr 2023.
Ihre Beiträge zur Kunstwelt gehen über Ausstellungen hinaus; ihre Werke sind in Katalogen, Kalendern und Büchern vertreten. Stütz ist aktives Mitglied des Berufsverbandes Bildender Künstler Österreichs LV Steiermark und des Steirischen Kunstvereins Werkbund.
