Keri Shaffer-Arkow

I believe looking through a lense can capture the soul of anything. It could be a landscape, people, animal's or a building. After I take a photo I look at the finished product intently and feel the spirit in each picture. I started my photography in California 3 years ago on vacation, as soon as I returned to Canton, Ohio I won a photo contest at the library I'm employed at and had the honor of having my work hung in a local art gallery. It's been a wonderful way to capture memories and feelings of all the places I've been. Recently I have chosen to start taking pictures in the NE Ohio Area. I've also taken photo's in New Orleans, Charleston, California, NYC, North Carolina and Florida. I tend to fancy the beach and sunsets as one of the most captivating environments to photograph. However, I believe Art is all around and am willing to find the soul of a bug through my lense and carry my camera just about everywhere to not miss a opportunity to snap a photograph that someone may like.
