Katherine Berlin is a local artist who enjoys watercolor and pastel painting. Notably she paints historic buildings in the community and often cooperates with civic organizations to help them raise funds through her work. Many works have been made into limited edition prints.
A collection of East Hampton buildings is part of the Chatham Historical Society Museum's permanent collection. The Rathburn Library in Colchester also has one of her paintings in their permanent collection. The East Hampton Library owns some of her artwork and can be borrowed from the library as you would borrow a book.
Recently, Katherine has opened an art section, gallery and studio as part of Thatchers Pharmacy of Marlborough, now known as Thatcher's Alcove. There she continues to paint and teach along with other local artists.
