This artwork is created to bring its color, light and shape to a space of your room.

The picture is abstract, does not have a clearly marked object and plot. It is assumed that everyone looking at the canvas will see something of his own, or perhaps something that corresponds to the mood at the moment: and if the sky is quite clearly spelled out in the upper part, then the lower part can be described as the sea in the rays of the setting sun; a valley with golden sands; hills or mountains with slopes heated in a day and air masses above them, etc.
In this case, the main emphasis is on giving a sense of harmony, calm, so that the look of the viewer is free from clear elements, and smoothly, meditatively, slides on the canvas.
The color scheme also corresponds to these goals; mostly used warm ocher, brown, earthen shades. Gold notes are a tribute to modern trends in interior painting and in this case they are quite appropriate, because they emphasize the heat of golden light, as if heated by the sun.

Original abstract painting.

It was painted in multiple layers with palette knife and brushes.

The artwork is signed on the back and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.

The painting is done on gallery wrapped canvas using top quality oil paints and materials.

The edges have also been painted, so it is not necessary to frame it. It is ready to hang on the wall.

A layer of varnish has been used to protect it against UV rays and dust.

The birth of beauty and hope is impossible without accepting chaos hiding under the framework of visible orderliness. In this multidimensionality, the paradox of life and human nature, modern art finds creative forces, new meanings and harmony.

The artist Katerina Yakovleva is trying to reconcile complex sensual experiences and beautiful dualities of life. Her paintings tell of a delicate balance of creation and destruction, an attempt to organize or at least see order in a world that is always striving for entropy. While working on a painting, the artist sometimes sees how the image suddenly begins to disintegrate on canvas, which can be frustrating and misleading for a while. “However, this is the process of creativity, akin to the course of being itself, life; there is no goal, but a movement, with sudden deviations from the script, with moments of parting with important ideas and the emergence of new ones, where all the time in chaos something breaks apart and something is born again”.

Her paintings found their home in private collections in Russia, United Kingdom, USA, Italy, Austria, Finland, Lithuania and Romania.
