Biography
Kasia Kaldowski is a contemporary British painter and visionary art curator with over two decades of prolific experience. She has curated and exhibited in around 100 exhibitions across the United Kingdom, Poland, Ireland, and Lithuania. Initially pursuing a career in English law, Kasia’s deep passion for the arts was reignited by her husband, leading her to a creative path that has flourished ever since. She refined her artistic skills at the prestigious Central St. Martin’s in London, where she delved into art curating, ceramics, and printing techniques, expanding her artistic expression.
Kasia’s work has been showcased at renowned venues, including The Mall Galleries in London, where her unique vision garnered praise from both audiences and critics. As a dedicated member of the Association of Polish Artists in Great Britain (APA), she has made a significant impact through her curatorship and mentorship, notably with the "Legacy" exhibition. This groundbreaking showcase honored Polish artists of the early 20th century through the perspective of contemporary visionaries, blending heritage with modern innovation.
In her own paintings, Kasia fearlessly explores a wide range of techniques and styles, drawing inspiration from masters like Turner. Her work spans from quick, whimsical animal watercolors to bold abstract and avant-garde expressionism. With each piece, she expertly merges tradition and conceptual brilliance, evoking deep emotions and telling compelling visual stories.

Exhibition is specially commissioned by the hotel. Kasia has been a resident artist at the venue with her works on permanent display. This time she was asked to add to the hotel collection by creating an exhibition for visiting guests and media, in time for busiest summer months.

An exhibition of paintings dedicated to the beauty of Nymans landscapes and gardens, depicting, among others, a majestic winter-bare Lime Tree Alley, close ups of climbing roses and wisterias, fragrant borders to the hidden garden statues. both Mariusz and Kasia have been painting the gardens of National Trust for a number of years, with Nymans being their first love. Having had three successful exhibitions in this property in the past, this time the exhibition will show even more diverse, impressionistic-expressionistic feel.
