Karl Lagasse, the acclaimed French artist, rose to prominence in 2009 with his groundbreaking "One Dollar" sculptures. His talent quickly garnered international recognition, leading to his inclusion as one of the top 10 sculptors under 30 globally that same year. In 2012, Lagasse's innovative approach to art caught the attention of the New York publication Farameh, which featured him in their book "FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art," recognizing him as one of the fifty best contemporary artists inspired by traditional American icons.

During the 2016 Art Paris Art Fair, Lagasse received personal accolades from the President of the French Republic for his remarkable 2-meter bronze "One Dollar" sculpture displayed at the Grand Palais. His works have since become sought-after items in auction houses worldwide, and have found a permanent place of honor at Bel Air Fine Art's prestigious gallery alongside renowned artists like Jeff Koons, Banksy, and Salvador Dali since 2011.

In 2014, Lagasse's artistic prowess caught the eye of Maserati, leading to a collaboration to design a special edition Maserati commemorating the brand's 100th anniversary and promoting the launch of their new car model, the Ghibli. Lagasse unveiled his creation at the 2014 Paris Art Fair.

Lagasse's artistic vision extends beyond traditional gallery spaces. He has erected statues in various cities across the globe, promoting messages of peace, love, and humility. Additionally, Lagasse was commissioned to design the trophies for the 2017 and 2020 Deauville American Film Festival, presented to esteemed recipients including Johnny Depp and Morgan Freeman.

Today, Lagasse's work is not only celebrated in the art world but has also become a coveted addition to contemporary art collections, including those owned by prominent musicians such as Future and A$AP Ferg, solidifying his status as a leading figure in the world of contemporary art.
