I like flowers and birds, so I created a series of flower and bird paintings. My painting is based on oriental watercolor painting, but I also want to try to use Western oil paints to create the effect of watercolor painting. Because thick oil paints are not easy to color on linen, some people will say why not apply a layer of Gesso? The reason is very simple. Because I like the texture of linen, I use Gamsol is used to thin oil colors and painting mediums, which solves the problem that oil paints are not easy to blending color in linen and the problem of sticking force on linen with watercolor pigments.
