Rauchen, rauchen und nochmal rauchen.
Die israelische Politikerin Golda Meir (1898-1978) war zwischen 1969 und 1974 die erste Frau im israelischen Ministerpräsidialamt. Das neue Werk von Guy Nattiv ist kein klassisches Biopic, das den gesamten Werdegang der Protagonistin schildert. Der Film konzentriert sich auf den Ausbruch und Verlauf des Jom-Kippur-Krieges im Jahre 1973. Die israelische Premierministerin Golda Meir, auch bekannt als die „Eiserne Lady Israels“, muss 1973 äußerst wichtige Entscheidungen treffen.
Zwischen Zigarettenqualm, dem ständigen Läuten alter Telefone und den Kriegslauten im Kopf der Protagonistin entsteht ein komplexes Bild, das von politischer Verantwortung und von persönlichen Traumata erzählt.

Karibou was born, grew up and work in Saint Petersburg. Oil and mixed media expressionist painter and sculptor, in the recent years based in Germany, France and Finland. Her most recent series of works are abstract works which could be described as Modern Abstract painting.

Karibou attended classes for free naturalistic drawing by Peter Paulus at Cassel Academy of Arts for several years. She also got inspired by colour painting and have become a passionate self taught painter 🎨Â
Karibou is an established painter from Saint-Petersburg with international exposure. Her works are represented in many international exhibitions, collections and museums.
