Karel Aelterman

Karel Aelterman is a designer and maker of fine art furniture. He has his own furniture studio where he creates his pieces and teaches private cabinetmaking courses. He also teaches woodworking to adults in a college setting. In his pieces, Karel emphasizes the simplicity of form, the quality of surfaces and the inherent beauty of wood. He works on personal designs that are shown in galleries and exhibitions. He also designs and builds commissioned furniture. Karel has more than 15 years of experience in translation and meeting planning.
