Kakau

The hills have a particular shape in the horizon of the artist Kakau. In all works the line limits, summarizes and reveals the mountain that rises trying to reach the sky. The artist captures the space using only the form in its essence, a controlled negotiation, a pastime for the spirit. Kakau puts elements of her personality in all paintings; it works as a brand that easily identifies authorship. Kakau is a colorist with landscape paintings as the focus of that interest. Her works are not portraits of places but scenes that are subjected to abstraction, still recognizable but infused with colors and values beyond the normal.
