Juri is a contemporary Russian artist who works and lives in Estonia.

His main technique is oil painting, based on unusual mixture of realism and impressionism.
His favorite subject is seascape, especially during unusual states of nature. Dramatic sky and sea are his favorites. Interaction of people and animals in the environment of the city and nature.
In his works, he tries to interpret a brief form of nature surrounding us and to seize people with their emotions and feelings.
Capturing a moment and portraying it is the most important thing for an artist, in his opinion.

Was born in Tallinn, Estonia.
Was educated at the Tallinn Art School and at Tallinn University of Technology.
