The “GOLD” period

The conductive threads were already present in the canvases "with black backgrounds" making the images vibrate and amplify. Since then, these golden threads (still painted) have materialized… come to life on the canvas by illuminating the golden background which now emerges from the darkness, metallic and luminous… The elements have found their place on the new playful and luxurious scene where life is hides behind the theatrical mask of mocking death the prophetic apparition of the derisory, contained in this panting, crackling and quivering breath in the form of new “conductors”; The actors appear for the last play to be played. The costumes, dresses, animals, masks, fabrics and bones, dictate their law, they are back throwing themselves eagerly into the given role.
That of making people live differently, of making it plastic, more present. Here and there, cries manifest themselves in color, muted or rich, beacons in the blind night… red is always blood, and the beating of the heart. Yellow embodies the spirit... each finds its meaning... The dermis precedes touch, the feather quivers with spontaneously reborn life, broken mirrors reflect the past, and gold brings the future through stylized plants. The murmurs hold back their voices to unite in chorus...
The curtain rises on the theater of painting, a life subject to the rhythm of contrasts enriched by multiple absent colors, of which only the intensity counts.
Gold is the reflection of this metal where the intransigent images that arise are engraved, in order to throw themselves in front of the stage, lighting the flame that is consumed in its light... on the unexplored space of tragedy to farce... like a half-drunk drum beating the box at the head of the procession... sometimes stripped to the extreme, sometimes full of signs that melt under the same breath the grotesque and the sublime... the terrible and the buffoon, in theatrical language...< br /> Between the "macabre" and the baroque, the jubilation of metaphor, the foundations of a fantastic theater are laid... unless the curtain falls and the metal then spreads alone... to spread out majestically, mysteriously, carrying waves of reminiscences between the dream and the day before... lighting up in gold!
