Julien Gautier, aka MacGribouille, is a self-taught artist based in France. He develops a unique graphic universe, influenced by his passion for details, lines, the strange, offbeat humor, and animals.
His work is distinguished by a technique combining markers and fine liners on paper, which he then vectorizes to digitally colorize. This hybrid process, mixing traditional and digital art, allows him to create works that are immediately recognizable thanks to their precise and graphic style.

Although he has no specific artistic mentor, MacGribouille draws inspiration from his moods and personal experiences, addressing varied themes such as the absurd and animal representation.
He recently exhibited at the Galerie Beauté du matin calme in Paris, a milestone in his career. Although he did not receive formal training in art, his background in the graphic arts greatly influenced the technical quality of his creations.
His work continues to evolve, captivating viewers with its distinctive lines and original approach.
