Julie Lalonde is a multidisciplinary artist based in Quebec, Canada. Her creative practice spans painting, watercolor, tattooing, and photography, forming a unique and deeply personal visual language. Through her work, Julie explores powerful themes such as resilience, femininity, inner freedom, and emotional healing. Each piece is a reflection of lived experience — a story told in silence, through lines, shades, and textures.
Her painting style is often a blend of semi-realism and abstraction, using a limited color palette to evoke emotion and focus the viewer’s attention on the essence of the subject. Faces, bodies, and symbolic elements often emerge from her compositions, representing fragments of stories, personal battles, or universal emotions. Whether working on canvas or skin, Julie’s work is marked by a raw sensitivity and a poetic edge.
Her artistic journey is also deeply rooted in transformation. Art, for her, is not just a medium of expression but a space for healing and awareness — both for herself and for those who engage with her work. Her tattoos are designed in the same spirit, offering her clients not only custom pieces but also meaningful experiences.
Julie’s mission is to create with intention and authenticity, bridging the intimate and the universal. She believes in the power of art to start conversations, provoke thought, and connect people beyond words. Whether through a powerful portrait, a minimalist flash tattoo, or a photograph full of silence, her work leaves a lasting emotional imprint.
Her work has been exhibited locally, and she is currently preparing a new body of work focused on women’s strength and vulnerability for an upcoming exhibition titled "ELLES."
