It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Something in your life needs closure, voluntarily or involuntary. Either way, you will feel a positive transformation begin after the initial path of suffering has passed. Julia Hacker explains "I reinterpret the source imagery, zooming on details of a small fragile plant or flower, thus giving it a visual power just by changing the scale of the relativity of the subject. Though her work is rooted in nature, it is not the origin of the image that she is preoccupied with. The struggle and our perception of the importance that we assign to the surrounding world are what interests Julia. She is expressing it through the paintings, looking for an emotional response the imagery triggers through reinterpretation ."
The artwork is shipped in the tube due to the size. There is a 2" border for stretching on all sides of the work. Stretching could be done in any local framing shop.

Julia Hacker is a Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist. She is working in a variety of traditional and mixed mediums, including oil, acrylic paint, handmade collage, and illustration. Hacker is an Elected Member of the Canadian Society of Artists and a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Her artworks are in private collections in Canada, the USA, and Europe.
