This painting is not just a still life but a portal to the past, a world of childhood memories where sweets were special, and each candy carried a piece of history. The iconic wrappers of legendary Soviet treats—Mishka na Severe and Yoshkina Korovka—are depicted with striking precision, capturing the texture of the paper, the play of shadows, and even the slight creases, as if these candies had just been pulled from the pocket of a winter coat.
