It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Originaire des côtes de Cornouaille, je suis résident de l'ouest guyanais depuis 7 années. Je me suis peu à peu familiarisé avec ce territoire atypique qu'est la Guyane. Amateur de photographie, j’ai trouvé en ces lieux, un espace propice à mon aguerrissement dans la pratique de cet art.
J'apprécie valoriser le territoire à travers la photographie et en particulier les paysages du fleuve Maroni. Ces clichés ont, dans leur grande majorité, été pris sur l’espace du bas et du moyen Maroni, ainsi que sur le fleuve Tapanahoni. À travers ces photos, je cherche à mettre en avant les paysages, les habitants, et les savoir-faire locaux, notamment l’usage de la pirogue.
Les pirogues notamment sont partie intégrante des paysages du Maroni d’une part. Seules les pirogues nous permettent de remonter ce fleuve aujourd’hui. Avec ses près de 90 sauts à franchir, le Maroni a permis l'émergence du métier de Botoman (piroguier). Celui-ci nécessite une maîtrise experte de son embarcation tant le Maroni peut parfois s'avérer imprévisible (prêt de 90 sauts à franchir).
