任碧筠Ren Biyun/jujube is a Chinese female artist. She thinks her life experience is insignificant to be stressed and describes her life as “not so painful but naturally, creates uneasiness for itself”. She has been troubled by almost everything in the world until she met LuLu who is also troubled in the same way as her. Their wounds are paralleled. “Only after I met LuLu did I really know how to make art, and I only started to live at that time. My one wish in life is to live with LuLu in this world, to live as clean as possible, and if we can’t, die in Iceland as soon as possible. There’s nothing beyond this.”
