Juan Maria Bollé is a contemporary Belgian artist whose journey in the art world began with training at the Institut Supérieur des Arts Visuels Saint-Luc in Brussels. Over the past three decades, he has showcased his works in galleries both nationally and internationally, primarily working with oil on canvas.

While traditionally focused on oil painting, Bollé's artistic exploration took a new direction about five years ago when he began experimenting with mixed techniques, merging photography and painting. This innovative approach involves creating collages from carefully selected photographs, combining multiple images within a single canvas.

Bollé's artworks are characterized by rhythmic compositions and tensions created by the juxtaposition of various image fragments. These "cinematic" paintings blur the lines between figuration and abstraction, resulting in visually striking pieces that captivate viewers.
