This collection of paintings depicts an intuitive response to the natural world around me. The various images of trees, flowers and other natural features are produced using a variety of mediums including - oil paint, acrylic, gouache, watercolour, pastel and some mixed media.

Biography
I am a part time painter of over 40 years, having been also an illustrator, graphic and exhibition designer. I have work in collections in USA, Europe and UK. I am self taught with an abiding interest in the intuitive expression of the natural environment and what I see in it. This includes the symbolic representation of trees and flowers and the graphic demonstration of my personal response to the effect of light on the textures of leaves, grasses and all forms of organic growth.

The images I produce are intended to invoke a sense of mystery and awe concerning the organic nature of human, animal and plant growth - and death. I employ a variety of graphic techniques and materials to achieve an expression of inner vision derived from an intensively felt emotional and intuitive response to the natural world.
