John Michel Carrión Díaz was born on May 31, 1980 in Caracas, Venezuela. Currently, he is continuing his studies in the 8th semester of a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts, specializing in Mixed Media, at the Instituto Universitario de Estudios Superiores de Artes Plásticas Armando Reverón in Caracas. Alongside his studies, he devotes himself to his artistic practice which also includes writing.

The artistic training of John Michel Carrión Díaz is varied and enriched by various courses and experiences. He notably studied Entomology with Professor Basilio Rodríguez at the Parque Zoológico el Pinar in Caracas in 1997, Artistic Screen Printing at Graficactual and Ediciones Graficas y Fotoscreen in Caracas, as well as making Power Point presentations at Artgraphics, also in Caracas. . In 2000, he explored video animation at TV Caricuao in Caracas.

As an independent photographic artist, John Michel Carrión Díaz stands out for his meticulous and thoughtful approach. He is currently preparing an exhibition entitled "Natural nudes", which will be presented at the Artsil Gallery in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, in May 2004. This exhibition will include photographs, paintings, drawings as well as a video/installation, exploring thus various forms of visual and artistic expression.

Through his work, John Michel Carrión Díaz explores natural beauty and sensuality through the prism of photography and other artistic mediums, seeking to provoke reflection on the perception of the human form and its interaction with the environment. His multidisciplinary approach and his commitment to contemporary art demonstrate his dynamic and innovative contribution to the international art scene.
