Let go of what no longer serves.
Nature lets go of the green and the leaves fall from the trees. This is the time to let go. A well-known release ritual is writing down what you want to let go of, and burning the note in a cauldron. But you can also let the note float away like a boat in the water.
Walking through the forest I write something on a leaf, after which I let it be carried away by the wind. After its journey it whirls down somewhere and will simply decay with the other leaves on the ground to be food for the next season.

John DutchArt schildert moderne kleurrijke abstracte schilderijen. De kunstschilder uit Eindhoven gebruikt hierbij graag verschillende materialen en combineert diverse schildertechnieken in zijn kunstwerken. Dit zie je in veel van zijn schilderijen terug door bijvoorbeeld structuren en contouren aangebracht op het doek waardoor schitterende 3D-effecten ontstaan.
In zijn kunstwerken werkt John DutchArt graag met kleuren die vloeiend in elkaar over lopen, met daaroverheen levendige en dynamische lijnen of vormen in complementaire kleuren. Zijn schilderijen zijn vrijwel altijd in lagen opgebouwd, tot soms wel 8 lagen toe om het juiste effect bij wisselende lichtinval onder verschillende hoek te creëren.
John begon in zijn jeugd als autodidact. Vele uren schilderen sindsdien en intensieve begeleiding van lokale en internationale kunstenaars hebben geleid tot het creëren van werken van hoge kwaliteit. Hij is Gold member van NABK (Nationale Vereniging voor Beeldende Kunstenaars) en maakt deel uit van het kunstmaterialen testpanel van JaKunst. Met regelmaat is zijn werk te zien op kunstbeurzen zoals Art Eindhoven en Nationale Kunstdagen.
Naast zijn eigen galerie in Eindhoven is zijn kunst sinds 2021 ook te zien in de showroom van Pure Sit in Venlo. In de stijlvol ingerichte showroom zijn circa 30 moderne, luxe woonkamerinrichtingen te zien. In combinatie met de moderne abstracte schilderijen van John DutchArt.
De kunstwerken van John DutchArt hebben hun weg inmiddels gevonden naar vele kunstverzamelaars over de hele wereld. Zijn stelling is dat kunst die jou aanspreekt tevens iets over jouzelf zegt. Dat kunst die bij jou aan de muur hangt hoort bij wie jij bent, wat jij zoekt in kunst en wat jij wilt uitstralen naar jouw bezoek of collega.
Of zoals hij zelf zegt: "If my art relates to you, then let it be your Statement Art".
