Joanna Buis is a contemporary French painter. Having developed a passion for drawing and painting in her youth, it was inevitable that she would embark on a journey into the realm of art history and archaeology to explore a world brimming with cultural richness.
Her artistic exploration eventually led her towards the realm of abstract painting, where color took on a privileged role. For Joanna, color became the means through which she could express herself, a source of liberation and solace. Through it, she translated her deepest emotions into visual art, turning color into both the subject and the language of her work, a symbol of freedom in its purest form.
Throughout her creative process, music has always been a constant companion to Joanna. It serves as a guide, helping her enter a meditative state where she lets her instinct take control.
