Biography
Jiri Genov is a contemporary Czech sculptor. The artist feels the need to create art on his own desire after many years of focusing primarily on custom work. He finds inspiration in nature and daily life for his works in the area of applied art and design. Genov primarily uses metal as a medium and bases his art on the masterly blacksmith craft. His work can range from serious to humorous exaggeration.
Jiri Genov was born in 1970, in Czechia, where he graduated from the School of Arts and Crafts in Turnov.
