The whole Llama serie is inpired in the smooth and clean lines showed by Henry Moore with his work. And also it's inspired by de pre-Columbian art.
Jesus says "this artwork is a fusion of very different cultures, recreation of ancient concepts with a modern viewing".

Jesús Valencia is a contemporary Chilean sculptor. He worked as a silversmith as a first step in learning metalworking techniques. He studied and researched for eight years before realizing he was ready to create major works of art.
In 2009, Valencia began working on his first sculptures and established his studio-workshop in San Pedro de Atacama's historic town center. Since then, his sculptures have been sold to private art collectors from all over the world during their visits to Atacama. As a result, his artworks may be found in many countries around the world.
Jesús Valencia was born in 1974, in Chile.
