Biography
Jesline Er is a Singaporean artist whose artistic journey blends passion, exploration, and dedication. With a background in graphic design and digital illustration, she refined her skills over the years, drawing inspiration from Singapore’s vibrant cityscapes and rich heritage.
A career highlight was her oil painting, which was showcased at the Haegeumgang Theme Museum in South Korea in 2022. Believing in the omnipresence of art, Jesline transforms nature into a canvas of positive messages. In August 2023, she unveiled her solo exhibition 'Nature in Art’, revealing her profound connection with the natural world.
With her thought-provoking style, Jesline invites viewers to immerse themselves in the narratives her artworks convey. She draws inspiration from the world around her, particularly Singapore's vibrant landscapes, which she captures through expressive brushstrokes. Whether delicate or bold, her brushwork reveals textures that bring cityscapes to life, offering a sense of realism and emotional depth.
Jesline is a lifetime member of renowned art societies. She actively participates in exhibitions organised by these societies and engages in local and international art competitions. In addition to her artistic practice, she serves as the Chinese Secretary for The Society of Chinese Artists. Her works are graced in museums, organisations, and private collections worldwide.
