This artwork is certainly reminiscent of Monet. Though I do not claim to come even close to such a master, I do find the subject of Water Lilies inspiring. Working with a heavily textured style is always rewarding. There is something about water, it’s movement and reflections that is very restful to the mind.

I have been an enthusiastic painter since the age of 11. Most of my childhood was spent in a rural setting, where my love for the Australian landscape developed. I am passionate about producing paintings that possess light, atmosphere, and depth. My love for beauty in landscape is directly connected to my love for God.
Artists that have inspired me are Kevin Best, Thomas Kinkade, and others that share the same passion for depth and lifelike scenery. I am also able to do a variety of other paintings also, and my abilities are not limited to landscapes. Animals, still life and almost anything is possible in the realm of "lifelike". I use oils, watercolours and acrylics.
