"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Ervaar de kracht en gratie van de natuur met deze unieke reductie linosnede print van een paard. Met een afbeelding van 30×30 cm, gedrukt op hoogwaardig papier van 35×35 cm, brengt dit kunstwerk een vleugje elegantie in elke ruimte.
Dit is een originele handgemaakte linosnede print van een paard, omringd door de majestueuze schoonheid van de natuur. Verkrijgbaar in een beperkte oplage van 10. Het is gedrukt met Caligo Safe Wash olieverf in 10 lagen.
Met zorg en aandacht voor detail met de hand vervaardigd, vangt deze print de verfijnde nuances van het paard in zijn natuurlijke omgeving. De reductietechniek creëert levendige kleuren en een dynamische textuur die de afbeelding tot leven brengt.

Mijn inspiratie voor deze print komt voort uit de vreugde die dieren me brengen, in een stijl die doet denken aan Art Nouveau, vergelijkbaar met de werken van William Morris en Alphonse Mucha. Mijn atelier ligt in een landelijke omgeving, waar ik tijdens het schilderen de geluiden van schapen, paarden en geiten hoor. Dieren maken me gelukkig, en ik schilder ze daarom met liefde.
Ik heb ruim twee maanden besteed aan het ontwerp en het printproces. Elke print is met de hand gedrukt en heeft daardoor unieke variaties. De reductietechniek vereist zorgvuldige planning, aangezien elke kleurlagen meer lino wegsnijdt, zonder mogelijkheid tot correctie na het snijden.
Deze afbeelding heeft 10 snij- en printlagen. Op YouTube heb ik een filmpje geplaatst van het printen van de laatste laag.

Jennie Smallenbroek is a contemporary Dutch artist. Smallenbroek is a visual artist and teacher, textile and surface graphic designer, textile and pattern designer. Her work is mainly focused on handmade illustration and pattern design applied to various products and surfaces, and is the result of a multidisciplinary learning process involving fashion, fine arts, and textiles.
Smallenbroek studied the techniques of the old masters and has a passion for classical painting. Taught by a number of prominent Dutch artists, such as Cornelis Le Mair and Sam Drukker and followed several courses in Italy at the Angel Academy of Art with Michael John Angel and at the Florence Academy of Art in Sweden.
Jennie Smallenbroek was born in 1966, in the Netherlands. She exhibited her works both nationally and internationally. She is an "Arc Living Artist" at the Art Renewal Center in New York, a foundation dedicated to the revival of realism in visual art.
