Jela Georges is a Franco Serb photographer artist living in Paris (France) who has no monomania for the moment, the moment is such a fragile and ephemeral movement. She found in photography a way to steal the moment, to capture it to better try to extract its essence.
She devotes herself exclusively to black and white film photography which reflects the immutable duality with which we are constantly confronted.
Black and white photography is both Manichean and its opposite. The photograph of one's fellow beings is a way of capturing the truth of beings, like a privileged access that allows one to probe the soul.
She develops the prints herself from her laboratory. She has had training to do this but likes to learn on her own to let the senses express themselves. Experience is strength.
