This artwork is a one of a kind piece designed as a wall display and will be completed and ready by 7/23/25.
I have been working with wood since I was a young man and I have always been fascinated with what you could do with wood. After I left the military I became a professional carpenter and millwright and over the years I have built houses, cabinetry, and furniture. Now retired from the “professional life” I am focused on what I have always desired to do, create art from nature.
My Passion And What I Love To Do
Driven by a passion for sustainability and craftsmanship, as an artisan I seek out and repurpose parts of trees that otherwise would be chopped up for firewood or simply be thrown into the chipper for mulch. I cannot salvage a whole tree so I’m always on the lookout for pieces I see as nature’s natural beauty. I then work to enhance what nature has provided me to create a timeless piece of art.
Each piece I create is an experiment inspired by nature’s own beauty. Where others see just a tree I see the potential of natures art.
