Born in Provence, immersed very early in the world of painting, thanks to an initiation by his father himself a painter, Jean-Xavier Combe, after stays in Africa, then in the South Pacific, returned live in his region in order to devote himself fully to his art.... Very influenced by the Impressionists as well as by Turner, he presents to the public oil paintings with very warm colors and a particular atmosphere. , and often visitors are drawn into this vision of the world around us, a very personal vision of the artist...
He exhibited regularly in well-known towns and villages in the South of France such as Arles, Avignon, Orange, Les Baux de Provence, Lourmarin, Fontaine de Vaucluse... and currently in Roussillon in Provence as well as in Ansouis, a magnificent little village in the South of Luberon.
