Né le 17 août 1936 , Jean Pierre POVEDA débute son parcours initiatique dans les année 50, pour le conclure aux beaux-arts de Dijon en 1958 .
Les hasards de la vie l’amènent à SAINT-PERAY en Ardèche( 07 ) où , jusqu’au début des années 80, ses obligations familiales et professionnelles le contraignent à mettre entre parenthèse sa peinture. Les années 80 apportent avec elles la maturité et l’affirmation d’un style qui laisse éclater ses couleurs baignées par le soleil de ses origines méditerranéennes enrichissant ainsi sa vision de la vie , prise sur le fait, comme saisie dans l’instant.
Face à une oeuvre aussi aboutie, la consécration arrive sans tarder sous la forme d’expositions successives dans le sud de la France, ou ses toiles semblent être vraiment chez elles , éclairées par la même lumière.
Aujourd’hui, son envie insatiable de création se trouve décuplée par la reconnaissance du public toujours au rendez-vous : médaille d’or de la municipalité de Livron (Drôme 26) trophée d’or Aurélia Côte d’Azur (saint Jean Cap Ferrat O6 ) grand prix du public Menton ( Alpes maritimes O6 ) prix Master.

Le jaillissement des couleurs et la lumière sont un résumé très juste et précis d’une peinture qui offre toutes ses plus belles couleurs dans un mélange et une ambiance tellement méditerranéennes !!!



Born August 17, 1936, Jean Pierre POVEDA begins his journey of initiation in the year 50, conclude them at the beaux-arts of Dijon in 1958.
The hazards of life lead him to SAINT-PÉRAY in Ardèche (07) where, until the early 1980, family and professional obligations compelled it to put in brackets his painting. 1980s bring with them the maturity and the affirmation of a style which allow its colours bathed by the Sun of its Mediterranean origins thus enriching his vision of life, taken on the fact, as entry in the moment.
Facing a work also accomplished, the consecration arrived promptly in the form of successive exhibitions in the South of the France or canvases seem to be really at home, illuminated by the same light.
Today, his insatiable desire for creation is multiplied by the recognition of the public always at the rendezvous: Gold Medal of the municipality of Livron (Drôme 26) Gold Aurelia Côte d'Azur (saint Jean Cap Ferrat O6) trophy grand prix public Menton (Alpes-maritimes O6) price Master.
