"Sortie de port, un soir d'été". Il s'agit du petit port de la Coudoulière, à Six-Fours-les-Plages, un soir d'été, un peu caniculaire.
Le soleil a chauffé fort, ce jour-là, il est encore de feu, lorsqu'il tombe dans la mer...
Lorsque poésie, émotion et technique se croisent :
Pour le peintre, à cette heure crépusculaire d'été, de confrontation entre chiens et loups, la rencontre des éléments naturels : l'eau, le ciel, la terre, l'air, le feu offrent une palette de couleurs et de contrastes époustouflants.
Si pour chacun de nous le coucher du soleil est un moment "royal", de communion quasi religieuse avec le "naturel", pour l'artiste peintre outre la poésie de l'instant ce peut-être un défi énigmatique à relever.
Pour un aquarelliste particulièrement, un "peintre à l'eau", qui utilise l'eau et le pigment coloré, pour faciliter ou empêcher la fusion des couleurs, et les fixer sur le papier, c'est un travail d'équlibriste, que la nature sait faire "avec maestria", mais complexe à reproduire pour l'humain que nous sommes... Un rouge et un jaune, par transparence ou opacité, offrent des dégradés d'oranges intéressants, presque "faciles"... Mais empêcher qu'un jaune et un bleu, forts nuancés ne virent au vert, ou qu'un rouge sur du bleu ne virent au violet, peuvent devenir un casse-tête périlleux ?... Ou bien encore de la clarté dans l'obscurité... ? "Sol y sombra", comme on dit en terre ibérique, ou bien le "clair-obscur" en terre picturale...
